Application Guide\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Listed below are applications in the Fertilizer, Bulk Gas, Refining, Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG), Methanol and Oil & Gas industries where Kaiser Raman analyzers are used to measure gas and liquid composition. Measured gases include CO\u00a0(carbon monoxide), CO2\u00a0(carbon dioxide), H2\u00a0(hydrogen), N2 (nitrogen), O2\u00a0(oxygen), H2S\u00a0(hydrogen sulfide), NH3 (ammonia), CH3OH\u00a0(methanol), CH4\u00a0(methane), C2H6\u00a0(ethane), C3H8\u00a0(propane), and more. Measured liquids are currently focused on the Oil & Gas industry and include liquefied natural gas and mixed refrigerant composition. The Rxn4\u2122 Analyzer, Optograf\u2122 Analyzer, AirHead\u2122 probe, and Pilot\u2122 probe were developed and are manufactured by Kaiser Optical Systems, Inc., an Endress+Hauser company, and are powered by Kaiser patented holographic technology. The Optograf Analyzer has been specifically designed with the high sensitivity required for our gas-phase applications and the field instrument performance required for liquid process measurements. The Rxn4 Analyzer provides even higher accuracy required for LNG custody transfer applications.<\/p>\n

Raman Analyzers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Using the OptoAST\u2122 and OptoDRS\u2122 sample interfaces, the Optograf\u2122 Analyzer is able to analyze hot, wet, and particle-laden gas phase streams at the sample tap, often at process temperature and pressure. Using the Pilot\u2122 probe, the Rxn4 and Optograf Analyzers are able to analyze LNG and Mixed Refrigerants in the cryogenic liquid phase, avoiding the need for a vaporizer. An optional probe retraction interface is available to enable the Pilot probe to be inserted and removed from flowing streams without requiring process shutdown.<\/p>\n
