They provide 10 milliseconds throughput and exceptionally high mean-time between failures, ensuring system safety and reliability. These cost-effective, packaged controllers are ideal for smaller applications and provide integrated digital I/O points.

- TÜV-certified for use in applications to SIL 3 and to PLe/Category 4
- Provides 28 safety digital I/O points (20 inputs and 8 outputs)
- Contains an embedded 4-port Ethernet switch and an RS-485 port (for read-only ASCII communication)
- Communicates over GuardPLC™ Ethernet and over EtherNet/IP™
- Offers Modbus RTU slave and PROFIBUS DP slave communication options
- Integrates with 1734 POINT Guard I/O™, 1753 GuardPLC Distributed Safety I/O, and 1791ES CompactBlock™ Guard I/O modules
